摘要
In this paper, a novel dual-polarized Vivaldi antenna design for airborne electronic warfare (EW) systems is presented. The proposed design derives its dual polarization from two naturally linear polarization of Vivaldi antennas via orthogonally T-shaped configuration which operates in the UHF frequency band. Both L- and T-configurations are simulated by using FDTD based 3D electromagnetic analysis software. Simulation results reveal the antenna performance of the T-configuration is similar to the single polarized design and superior in terms of radiation pattern and port isolation in contrast of the L-configuration.
