摘要
Quantum dot nanoparticles captivated recent research on energy storage devices with their unique properties like size effect, greater surface area and rapid electron transport which delivers elevated power and energy density. In this study, graphitic carbon nitride quantum dot (gC3N4 QD) was synthesized by solid phase method, and the MoO3-GO@gC3N4QD (MGCN) NC prepared by ultrasonication for electrochemical energy storage application. Further, the structural and chemical composition of prepared MGCN NC were investigated by XRD, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy. Further, the morphology of MGCN NC was examined by SEM and HR-TEM. The chemical composition and oxidation state of the synthesized sample MGCN NC was analyzed by XPS study. The MGCN NC electrode delivers a specific capacity of 468.9C/g at a current density of 0.5 A/g. Fabricated MGCN NC//AC supercapacitor device delivers an excellent specific capacity of 160.9C/g at a current density of 1 A/g and exceptional stability with 69.6 % retention after 7000 cycles. In order, the MGCN NC//AC device also provides the maximal energy density of 50.2 Wh/Kg and power density of 11,250 W/Kg. The synthesized MGCN NC serves as an auspicious electrode material for supercapacitor applications, offering enhanced performance and efficiency.
