摘要
[Purpose/Significance] With the continuous development of Internet technology, open innovation communities (OICs) have become a crucial force driving scientific and technological progress as well as industrial development. In-depth research and analysis of OICS are of significant importance in understanding their developmental trends, influencing factors, and future tendencies. [Method/Process] A total of 129 Chinese core literature articles were selected from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database within a specific time range. English literature data were collected from the SCI and SSCI of the Web of Science Core Collection, totaling 128 articles. CiteSpace, a visualization knowledge mapping tool, was utilized for bibliometric analysis, examining the growth trends, current status, and research hotspots in the OIC field. Based on this analysis, potential areas for future research emphasis were identified. [Results/Conclusion] Building upon the definitions provided by domestic and international scholars concerning open innovation communities, this paper summarized five major characteristics of these communities: virtuality, goal orientation, interactivity, network structure, and voluntariness. The results of literature growth trends indicate a general increase in the number of publications within the OIC field, garnering widespread attention in academia. By comparing keyword clustering maps of Chinese and English literature, it was observed that common focal points revolve around community user creative management, user behavior analysis, and corporate performance research. However, differences exist as domestic literature emphasizes leading user identification while foreign literature pays more attention to research on open-source software communities within OICs. Future research should concentrate on leading user identification and demand analysis.
