摘要
Context: One of the most prevalent neurodegenerative disorders affecting persons between the ages of 40 and 70 is Parkinson's disease. Non-motor Parkinson's symptoms are divided into sleep symptoms, dysautonomia symptoms, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and sensory symptoms. Fatigue, depression, and anxiety are non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's that significantly worsen the quality of life. Aims: To evaluatethe effects of motorfunction scores usingThe Movement DisorderSociety-Sponsored Revision of the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) PART III values on fatigue, depression, and anxiety in Parkinson's patients. Methods: This was an observational quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. There were 30 respondents in this research. All of them were Parkinson's patients who were being examined and assessed with MDS-UPDRS PART III in the Neurology department of RSUD Dr. Moewardi from July 2021 to September 2022. Fatigue Severity Scale, Hamilton Depression Scale, and Hamilton Anxiety Scale were used to score patients' fatigue, depression, and anxiety levels. Results: MDS-UPDRS PART III scores and Parkinson patients' depression, fatigue, and anxiety levels were compared with the Spearman correlation test. A statistically significant result was obtained between the scores with depression (p<0.05; 0.862), anxiety (p<0.05; 0.584), and fatigue (p<0.05; 0.898). Conclusion: The severity of MDS-UPDRS PART III and the signs of fatigue, anxiety, and depression were strongly and positively correlated. This study showed that the motoric symptoms score value increased with the likelihood of patients experiencing depression, anxiety, and tiredness.
