摘要
Large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions have led to global warming and climate change worldwide. To investigate the climate change from greenhouse gas emissions, a multi-stage data envelopment analysis with game cross-efficiency measurement is developed for the environmental sustainability evaluation. The proposed method considers the competitive relationship between decision-making units and introduces the peer evaluation mode, which makes the evaluation more reasonable and obtains more discriminatory power. A real-case study on assessing the sustainability in the climate change from greenhouse gas emissions of European Union countries is studied. Some important climate-related factors are included as indicators in this study. A comparison of the proposed method with other studies is also provided. It is expected that this research provides the European Union policy makers valuable information for enhancing the attainment of national sustainable development goals.
