<正>Professor Xingxiao Ma (马兴孝,November 07,1934-January 09,2024), born and grew up in Chengdu City,Sichuan Province of Southwestern China, was educated at Sichuan University as a physics major student,after which he spent his whole career teaching and doing research in the Department of Chemical Physics (DCP)at the University of Science and Technology of China(USTC).
