Determination of Residual Stresses Using Barkhausen Noise during Hardening of Parts with a Pendulum Tool

摘要
Using the Barkhausen noise, the compressive residual stresses of parts strengthened by pendulum surface plastic deformation (SPD) has been determined. The obtained results are compared with the results of numerical calculations with the Ansys 19.1 computer program. Using the Statistica 10.1 software package, experiments are planned to find the optimum pendulum SPD modes to ensure the maximum compressive residual stresses on the surface of parts.
