摘要:
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of psychoeducation-based interventions given to third-trimester pregnant women on their sleep quality and anxiety levels. This quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design study was conducted with a randomised control group. When the sample size was calculated with a 95% confidence interval of 0.5 effect size, 68 pregnant women constituted the sample size. The study was completed with 31 pregnant women in the intervention group and 33 pregnant women in the control group.Psychoeducation-based interventions were given online to the intervention group for 4 weeks. Personal information forms, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, and The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory were the data collection tools. While the psychoeducational intervention which was given online to 3rd-trimester pregnant women for 4 weeks was found to have an effect on total sleep quality and its sub-dimensions of sleep duration, and habitual sleep efficiency (p<0.05), it did not have any effect on anxiety level, and sleep quality sub-dimensions of subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep disturbances, daytime dysfunction and use of sleep medication (p>0.05). It is recommended to include online training in the practices in addition to face-to-face training in pregnancy training.
