摘要
Highly sensitivity surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor for pesticide (deltamethrin) detection is theoretically investigated in this paper. The sensing structure is composed of only two material layers of silver (Ag) and black phosphorus (BP) which are deposited on the surface of BK7 glass prism one over the other. To examine the sensing capability of the sensor the mixture of deltamethrin (25 g/l) with water of different concentrations is chosen as a sensing medium. The geometrical parameters of each layer of the sensor are tuned to obtain optimum sensing performance. The results of the proposed sensor highlights the pesticide (deltamethrin) detection capabilities of the propose sensor. The proposed senor possess the high sensitivity of 499 deg/RIU with signal-to-noise ratio of 0.02, limit of detection of 6.6e- 4, quality factor of 14.37 and a figure of merit of 75.13 RIU- 1. These parameters are sufficient to validate our claim of designing of an exceptional sensor capable of minutely detecting the pesticide level of the sample under investigation. This work may create openings for the utilization of the SPR sensors useful in the detection of pesticide level in different liquids and drinks excreta. MATLAB programing based on transfer matrix method (TMM) is used for the simulation of the results which are further analyzed for the evaluation of the sensor's performances.
