摘要
BackgroundIsolated bone metastasis from uterine cervical cancer is rare, with very few cases documented in the literature.Purpose and methodWe present the case of a 35-year-old woman diagnosed with FIGO Stage IIB invasive squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix, treated with chemoradiation and brachytherapy, achieving a complete clinical and radiological response. Eleven months later, a whole-body PET/CT scan identified an isolated lesion in the proximal left clavicle without evidence of other skeletal metastases. Biopsy confirmed metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.ResultThe patient received three cycles of chemotherapy before surgical resection, with good local control and no recurrence six months post-surgery.ConclusionThis case report illustrates the interest of aggressive management of isolated bone metastasis from cervical carcinoma in a young patient.
