摘要
Using Azadirachta Indica leaf extract (AILE), the current work describes an environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and energy-efficient technique of producing Mn nano ferrite or AILE@Mn ferrites. These ferrites nanoparticles were prepared by green synthesis method at 500 °C for 4 and 8 h. MnFe2O4 NPs were studied using various spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, such as XRD, and FTIR spectroscopy, VSM and antibacterial. Using a scanning electron microscope (FESEM), the morphology of the particles was examined. Preparing MnFe2O4 NPs resulted in very pure, crystalline, partly spherical particles with an average size of 26 nm and magnetic characteristics. The biosynthesized nanoparticles exhibit magnetization of approximately 7.2 emu/g. Increasing the heating period to 8 h results in the development of sphere-shaped nano size particles, even though the MnFe2O4 nanoparticles are agglomerated after 4 h of heating. An X-ray diffraction pattern was used to study the crystal structure of Manganese nitrate ferrite nanoparticles, and the Debye-Scherrer formula was used to determine the size of the crystallites. Also, Bacillus cereus (Gram + ve) and Escherichia coli (Gram -ve) were the pathogenic bacterial strains for which AILE@ Mn NPs were synthesized for antibacterial testing. The biosynthesized AILE@ Mn NPs were shown to have the highest potency in preventing the growth of dangerous Escherichia coli. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
