摘要
This article reviews the role of the sustainable development goals (SDG) in steering university entrepreneurship education programs, which aim to help students to develop skills and readiness to innovate in addressing some of the humanity’s most pressing challenges, and analyzes how the growing demand for universities to increase their relevance in tackling these complex problems shapes a background for a new order in higher education, guided by the purpose of becoming more socially integrated. The article discusses how the incorporation of the SDGs and entrepreneurship education into university strategies, along with support for curricular innovation and faculty development, can catalyze innovations which could help to foster advances towards more sustainable and inclusive societies. © 2025 Consejo Mexicano de Investigacion Educativa.
