摘要
We argue that B & uuml;ntgen's (2024) claim that climatescience must be separated from activism isfundamentallyflawed. Activism does not inherentlylead to biased science and striving for value-freescience is both unattainable and undesirable.Instead, we advocate for redefining the boundariesof acceptable influence of values in scientificcommunication and offer practical strategies tomove beyond the misleading myth of neutrality.
