摘要
The paper examines the process of deposit formation on the walls of heat-exchange equipment. The elemental composition and structure of the deposits are studied using X-ray fluorescence analysis and scanning electron microscopy, and an analysis of the physical and chemical processes responsible for the formation of the deposits is carried out. It is proposed to consider the process of deposit formation as a process of changing the surface topology of heat-exchange equipment, and to use the fractal dimension parameter as a quantitative characteristic of this process. Within the framework of the linear model, an integral equation is obtained that describes the process of sediment formation.
