The PET radiotracer F-18-flurpiridaz has undergone rigorous clinical testing and gained FDA approval for the evaluation of coronary artery disease. Its unique properties suggest F-18-flurpiridaz has the potential to transform the field of nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging and blood flow quantification, with far-reaching effects on cardiovascular care.
