摘要
The repair and rehabilitation of masonry structures (RRMS) are essential due to factors like aging and environmental exposure. Geopolymer mortars have emerged as superior alternatives to traditional cement-based mortars, offering enhanced mechanical properties such as high compressive strength and chemical resistance, while reducing the environmental impact associated with Portland cement. A bibliometric analysis of RRMS research from 2003 to 2023 indicates a consistent annual growth rate of 13.57%, with 404 papers published across 125 sources, highlighting the topic's global relevance. 28.22% of the research involves international collaboration, showcasing diverse perspectives and an average of 3.95 co-authors per manuscript. Textile-Reinforced Mortar (TRM) has proven effective in strengthening unreinforced masonry walls, enhancing load-bearing capacity and ductility. Although partial cement replacement with natural zeolite reduces ultimate strength, it lowers carbon emissions. Geopolymer mortars exhibit compressive strengths up to 66.2 MPa with recycled concrete aggregate and superior shear strength 7 times that of traditional mortars. Research production showed a persistent upward trend between 2013 and 2023, with a notable increase in citations, reflecting the field's significance. This comprehensive analysis underscores the potential of geopolymer mortars and TRM in advancing sustainable masonry rehabilitation practices while highlighting the importance of continued research in this dynamic field.
