摘要
It is essential to develop effective irrigation management strategies to mitigate the impact of water resource scarcity in agriculture. The Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI) stands out as a vital measure for assessing crop water status, typically measured through infrared thermometry atop plants. In this study, we developed a web-based application capable of calculating the CWSI based on temporal parameters using both empirical and theoretical models, thereby reducing the complexity of the calculation and enhancing its accessibility and usability by irrigation advisors. The application was also integrated with the Water Irrigation Scheduler for Efficient Application (WISE) tool to demonstrate the potential of the CWSI for optimizing irrigation scheduling.
