Abstract: The article considers milling of structural steels using a tool with rounded cutting edges and wear-resistant coating. The effectiveness of drag finishing of sharpened cutters with rounded edges and cutters with rounded edges and a PVD coating is assessed based on the cutting force and efficient tool life. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2024.
