摘要
This review comprehensively analyzes experimental and CFD studies of hydrogen-fueled Wankel rotary engines (HWREs), comparing their performance and emissions to gasoline-fueled counterparts. It examines key aspects, such as the unique cooling requirements of HWREs and the impact of spark timing on emissions control. Findings indicate that HWREs can deliver higher power output than hydrogen-fueled piston engines, yet challenges like knock, brake thermal efficiency, and nitrogen oxide emissions persist. Low-level oxygen enrichment significantly enhances HWRE performance compared to high-level enrichment. Additionally, the review covers the application of machine learning techniques, including Gaussian Process Regression, Support Vector Machines, and Artificial Neural Networks, to analyze HWRE combustion processes, as well as optimization methods like Genetic Algorithms and Particle Swarm Optimization. To optimize HWREs, specialized cooling systems and advanced ignition control strategies are crucial. Despite the challenges, advancements in this field are promising, moving us closer to a future where hydrogen-powered Wankel cars are commonplace.
