摘要
In an inverting voltage power supply system, the resonant four-switch inverting buck-boost dc/dc converter shows attractiveness. The multi-variable current shaping control (MCSC) scheme controls the four segments of the resonant inductor current through multi-variable modulation, such as phase shift, duty ratio, and frequency. These elements efficiently regulate the output voltage with the soft-switching control. Subsequently, it minimizes the RMS resonant inductor current compared with the state-of-the-art discontinued current mode (DCM) control schemes. Furthermore, it reduces the conduction loss, and proportionally increase the efficiency. A simple PI close loop control is proposed to achieve the required inverting voltage regulation over a wide range. To verify the proposed multi-variable control scheme, a resonant four-switch inverting buck-boost dc/dc converter hardware was designed and experimentally tested with a wide range of inverting voltage, such as from - 48 Vdc-1 to 30-57 Vdc-2 and vice versa. The results showed a peak efficiency of over 98.67% under the same input-to-output voltage condition (- 48 Vdc to 48 Vdc).
