摘要
• FMT emerges at par of metformin as a multifaceted therapeutic intervention for high sugar high fat diet induced diabetes.• Stabilization of insulin levels, control of LPS, reduction in FFA, and lowered glucose and HbA1c observed post-FMT.• Restoration of important gut microbiota, including Prevotella ruminicola, Akkermansia municiphila, Roseburia, Faecalibacterium prausntizii, similar to the donor.• FMT demonstrates a significant reduction in inflammation, indicating its potent anti-inflammatory effects as a therapeutic intervention for Type 2 Diabetes.
