摘要
Chlorantraniliprole is used to manage brinjal and shoot borer; however, residues may remain in crops. Therefore, the analysis of chlorantraniliprole residues with correlated dissipation rate and safety evaluations in Brinjal was undertaken at Varanasi, India. The present investigation was undertaken to study the dissipation pattern and safety evaluation of chlorantraniliprole residues in brinjal fruits. The collected brinjal was extracted using a modified ethyl acetate-based extraction method and analyzed by gas-chromatography micro-electron capture detector (GC-mu ECD). The food safety evaluation was determined by comparing the dietary exposure against maximum permissible intake (MPI) values. The GC-mu ECD gave good linearity (R2 >= 0.97). The half-lives of chlorantraniliprole residue in brinjal fruits were 1.94, 2.24, and 2.71 days for RD half, RD, and DD, respectively for the year 2019 and for the year 2020, half-lives were 1.82, 1.40, and 2.78 days for RD half, RD, and DD, respectively. Dietary exposures of the residues were less than the MPI of 24.96 mg/person/day on all the sampling days. Thus, chlorantraniliprole can be recommended for spraying treatments in brinjal as a low-risk insecticide.
