摘要
In recent years, PBAT, i.e., Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) stands out as a potential material for packaging due to its favorable characteristics. However, its high manufacturing costs, poor crystallization, and inadequate barrier properties have impeded its broader acceptance in the industry. To tackle these issues, our study introduces a novel approach by incorporating octadecylamine (ODA)-modified cellulose (OMCC) as an ecofriendly additive. OMCC not only enhances the dispersion of cellulose within the PBAT matrix but also prevents its re-agglomeration. The integration of OMCC into PBAT has led to its significant improvements in mechanical strength, UV resistance, compatibility, hydrophobicity, and effectively enhances gas barrier properties. This work provides a new and biodegradable composite film for food packaging.
