摘要
Soliton explosion and soliton pulsation are among the most intriguing nonlinear dynamics in dissipative systems. In this paper, we construct an ultrafast Yb-doped fiber laser mode-locked by nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR). Up to five nonlinear regimes are observed successively in our device by adjusting two intra-cavity polarization controllers, including stable dissipation solitons, noise-like pulses (NLPs), soliton explosion, soliton pulsation and Q-switched mode-locked (QSML) state. Benefiting from the dispersive Fourier transform (DFT) method, we capture the real-time spectra evolution of those nonlinear dynamics, which can help researcher to better understand different soliton dynamics. Our work will enhance a more comprehensive understanding of nonlinear phenomenon in dissipative systems.
