Abstract: The article considers the risk assessment system based on selecting risk response actions in accordance with the calculated risk priority number. Problems of the application of the RPN method and ideas for overcoming these problems are considered. An approach consistent with the AIAG & VDA FMEA methodology that is capable of eliminating some disadvantages of using the priority risk number method is proposed. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2024.
