In order to improve the identification accuracy of key carbon emission nodes in the power system; the indicators of node carbon potential; carbon flow rate flux; load carbon flow rate and unit injection carbon flow rate are selected from the carbon emission flow analysis method; and the indicators of improved degree; improved balance degree; improved betweenness and improved clustering coefficient are proposed based on complex network theory and node carbon emission characteristic. The entropy weight-technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution is used to comprehensively evaluate the importance of carbon emission of different nodes; on this basis; a two-stage identification model of power system is established for identifying the high carbon nodes. The model of first stage identifies key carbon emission load nodes; while the model of second stage identifies key carbon emission power source nodes; finally a simplified topology structure of power system containing key carbon emission load nodes and power nodes is obtained. The simulative results of IEEE 118-bus system and an actual power grid in a certain region verify that the proposed method can effectively select high carbon nodes in the power system. © 2024 Electric Power Automation Equipment Press.
