To investigate the effect of localized repair of anodized film on Aluminum, corrosion resistance of anodized A1050 with re-anodized film using a flow cell was evaluated by CASS testing. The interface between the anodized film and the re-anodized film had a thinner film. It was found that corrosion of the anodized film initiated on this film interface and progressed to the initial anodized film side. © 2024 Japan Society of Corrosion Engineering. All rights reserved.
