摘要
To address the problems of uneven component distribution of zirconia nanocomposites, abnormal grain growth during high temperature treatment,CeO2-ZrO2 nanocomposite powders were prepared by in-situ self-assembly method. The effects of CeO2 addition, different dispersants and calcination conditions on the phase con‑ tent and morphology of ZrO2 powders were studied. The results show that ZrO2 powders containing 10% CeO2 with polyether P123 as a dispersant achieve the complete stabilized of zirconia tetragonal phase when calcined under vacuum conditions. The dispersion of the powders is good, and its particle size is 50~100 nm. The carbon formed in vacuum calcination effectively prevents the abnormal growth of CeO2-ZrO2 nanoparticles. The present work provides support for the preparation of high-quality ceramic nanocomposite powders, and has broad applica‑ tion prospects. © 2024 Editorial Office of Chinese Rare Earths.
