摘要
It is demonstrated that with higher fraction of pellets for thermal blast-furnaces and coke partially replaced by coal dust blown in, considerable dynamic thickening in burden can be formed in the furnace top. This is responsible for higher lateral pressure, hindered burden descending, poor technical and economical characteristics. A mathematical model has been developed to correlate the furnace configuration when smelting conditions vary.
