The dependence of the magnetization, initial susceptibility and coercive force on the temperature of a decomposing solid solution of Cu-Ni-Fe (14 wt. % Ni-7 wt. % Fe) is investigated. The initial susceptibility of specimens containing single-domain ferromagnetic particles of minimum size less than 100 A exhibits a nonmonotonic temperature dependence. There is a temperature T//m, dependent on heat treatment, at which the initial susceptibility has a maximum. Coercive force appears when the temperature falls below the T//m. The T//m is not dependent on the frequency of remagnetizing field in the range 50-10**4 Hz.
