摘要
Despite their effectiveness in use as SHF broadcasting transmitting antennas, horn antennas have the disadvantage of null points in their vertical radiation patterns. The horn antenna proposed in this paper has phase-adjusting metal-plate lenses and radiates almsot cosecant beams with improved gain at 12 GHz. Test results are presented. The accuracy in fabricating the lens and the effect of the lens-setting error (the mean square of the deviation of the lens location from the design value) are discussed.
