摘要
Microcolumn-based high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems offer several advantages over conventional systems. To exploit these advantages to the fullest, however, there's a need for better detectors. Several promising methods are discussed, including laser fluorometry, Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry, and indirect approaches to polarimetry and absorption spectrometry.
