Due to the increase in the price of fuel, much attention abroad has been given to waste-heat regeneration in all technological processes, including using the heat contained in exhaust air. Special attention in research has been given to physically bonded energy, since the energy is irretrievably lost when the energy carrier is cooled to ambient temperature or when its pressure is reduced to atmospheric pressure. There are three approaches to the use of secondary energy resources in other countries: utilization and regeneration of thermal energy during its formation (in its perceptible form); releasing chemically bound energy; and using the energy carrier as a raw material.
