LIGHTING FOR AN INTEGRATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM.

Lighting schemes are considered and requirements of the individual stations of the integrated public transport system. As the system consists of a light rail metro system linked with an integrated bus and local British Rail, the lighting of the interchange station has basically six roles to perform, those being: Interchange normal lighting; Emergency lighting; Security lighting; Bus movement lighting; and Bridge, ramp and footpath lighting. The lamp types and rating at each location are given.
