Rainbow holography with movable synthesized slit was presented in this paper. Diffuse three-dimensional objects are translated uniformly on Xo-Yo plane. The propagation direction of the coherent plane wave illuminating the objects is situated on Xo-Zo plane. As a result of this process, a sinc function modulating the complex amplitude distribution of the object is presented on the back focal plane of lens. The synthesized slit is formed. The central position of the synthesized slit depends on both the direction of the object motion and spatial frequency of illuminating wave in Xo direction. Therefore rainbow holography with movable synthesized slit is realized.
