摘要
Based on counter method and edge sense technology, a novel system was designed to measure jitter of high-speed optical disc. Maximum error is only 504 ps and maximum speed is up to 32 x speed. Implemented in FPGA, the system has merits such as simple structure, high precision, low cost and short test time. There is an important use value in quality evaluation of optical disk as an elegant alternative to the time-interval analyzer (TIA).
