摘要
Since the rate at which mechanical engineering adjustment can be made within a project is slow, the engineering geologist must be able to provide ample warning of variation from expected conditions. This is a critical on-stream function which must be fulfilled effectively in order to maintain a state of high working efficiency. The article discusses various aspects of this function, including data acquisition, input to the pre-planning and planning stages, data feedback during operations, and completion of extraction.
