On super-deep penetration of rayleighons

摘要
The analysis of an exact solution of the problem on a subsonic motion of thin rigid plate in elastic medium has shown that the plate's resistance disappears at Rayleigh speed. A solitary inner ware curve (rayleighon) which propagates with Rayleigh speed and form a cavity inside a body with stress-free boundaries has been constructed. The hypothesis has been suggested that super-deep penetration, being observed at a impact implantation of metals by microparticles, is due to formation of rayleighons with microparticles going in their cavities freely with Rayleigh speed.
