Proteus Engineering introduces an integrated desktop ship design package. This system combines several programs including the FastShip hullform design scheme, the Maestro structural modelling analysis software, the GHS, the NavCad for resistance and powering, and a new program called ESTI-MATE for cost and contract quotations evaluation. The integrated system is called Flagship Core. A structure of complementary softwares, termed Backplane, is also linked to provide the following functions: manufacturing support, CAD interfaces, hydro code panelisation interfaces, finite-element analysis interfaces, and production management.
