摘要
It is shown that the thermo-optic characteristics W, P, Q of glass change markedly in a linear fashion with a change in temperature. Within the limits of the rms error the temperature coefficients are the same for W and P. Depending on glass composition these values are 0. 05-0. 34 multiplied by 10** minus **7 deg ** minus **2; the temperature coefficient for Q is an order of magnitude smaller. The optimum operating temperature of neodynium glass interferometers is estimated.
