摘要：
The properties of continued fractions are discussed with special reference to calculation of the combination frequencies at the output of a frequency converter. It is shown that by expanding the ratio of the converted frequencies into a continued fraction in the vicinity of the useful frequency one can determine the characteristic zones which are free of combination frequencies below a definite order. The method of calculation is illustrated by an example.
