Properties of a negative-U superconductor with magnetic impurities

Effects of magnetic impurities are theoretically studied for a superconductor induced by negative-U centers. The order parameter, the energy gap and the transition temperature are calculated as a function of the impurity concentration. It is shown that the depression of these parameters due to the magnetic depairing is much softened as compared with the case of a BCS superconductor. The results are consistent with experimental data for high-Tc oxides.
