Analytical Solution of the Radiation-Transfer Equation for a Layer of Magnetoactive Plasma with Random Irregularities

The radiation-transfer equation (RTE) for a plane monotonic layer of magnetoactive plasma with random electron-concentration irregularities characterized by an arbitrary spatial spectrum is considered. The use of the small-angle scattering approximation in terms of invariant ray coordinates for the RTE analysis is justified. Approximate analytical solutions that describe the space-angle distribution of the radio radiation reflected from the plasma layer are obtained.
