Properties and processing conditions of ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers are described with emphasis on the coating applications. They are also used for making packaging film presenting an alternative to low density PE. Although processing techniques are similar, care must be taken to protect machinery from this resin's corrosive nature. End uses of copolymers discussed are pointed out.
