摘要：
The use of octave band sound power level ratings for the design of fans is discussed. The ducted side testing of a fan indicates the sound power level inside the duct while that of a non-ducted side indicates the sound power levels at the fan opening. The sound pressure level in a space is estimated when sufficient information was available from the sound power level of the fan and the acoustical characteristics of the space.
