Platinum six-colour digital offset press is launched by Indigo. A laser writing head Image Tracking Technology enabling the imaging lasers to precisely lock on the surface motion of the Photo Imaging Plate for high resolution images is provided in Platinum. The liquid ElectroInk is claimed to replicate the surface texture of substrate and dries instantaneously. Platinum six-colour digital press has a base configuration price of about £130,000.
