Modified molecular thermodynamic theory of viscosity developed by B. K. Sharma is tested and applied to slightly non-spherical liquids. A comparison of the calculated values with experimental ones has been made for four liquids (including non-polar and polar), over a fairly wide range of temperature. The agreement is found to be good.
