The 'Spetsstal' company includes Moscow Steel 'Serp i Molot' Works. Modernization of the Works was performed several times. Products of the Works play important role in Great Patriotic War. High-quality steels are produced in electric arc furnaces. Electroslag and vacuum-arc units are used for improving the quality of steels. Steel products for aircraft, space, and other industries are manufactured at the Works. Ladle metallurgy unit is constructed in cooperation with German 'Fuchs' company. High-quality wire from corrosion-resistant steel is produced. New products for construction industry are manufactured. New equipment is used for manufacturing the bands from corrosion resistant steel.
