摘要
Wheel hardness is an important factor relating to grinding effect. Many of its measuring methods have been recently researched. According to wheel definition, the authors review four of them being used now. As static measurements, they do not conform with actual conditions so the measured data are not exact. To remedy the defects of present methods, the authors put forward a new one by dressing force on basis of theoretical analyses. It has a dynamic measuring performance, closer to definition of wheel hardness and actual grinding condition. Experimental results conform well to theoretical analyses.
