摘要
The flash welding of high-manganese steel crossing and high-carbon steel rail with a medium is introduced. The mechanical properties and the microstructure of welding junction are studied by means of static bending, dropping hammer and tension tests of whole rail, and metallographic, X-ray diffraction and electron microscope. At the same time, the residual stress of the welding joint is measured by using cutting method. The results indicate that the welding of high manganese steel crossing and carbon steel rail with the medium is feasible.
